Arriving Guardian

To many times to count have my guardians been there for me, always making me feel like they are watching over me. Be it they comfort me in my dreams. Sending me fortune or remarkably happy events. Or simply hearing/passing on my prayers.
And always it feels like they are watching me from beyond the stars. As if to unsure me, that whenever I need something to really turn to, I can simply look up. So Naturally, for me, the night sky symbolizes their presence and ever protecting eyes.

Since I've been painting all these nebula's/galaxies lately, I felt about ready to try my long awaited night sky. Since this is a tribute to my Guardians, it had to be a well made painting. And yesterday, when I was walking my dog for the night, I saw a huge falling star, and knew that tonight was it. Tonight I was gonna try on my tribute.

So here it is! My attempted Milky Way, with a falling star. Let me know what you guys think. Any and all critique is welcome!

Watercolor painting on A4 aquarelle paper. About 2-3 hours.
Stars made with white acrylics. (Falling star made by leaving water on the wanted area and dabbing it off. Filled in with a tint of white)
Frame added in Sai, gonna use a black paper passepartout for the original.
