One wish
The same as I always cast upon shooting stars
The same I always pray for in my dreams
Just one simple ting
I want to have a goal
A dream to follow
A destination to reach
Just something to follow
I want to know
Who I am
Who I can be
What I'm supposed to do
I envy those with dreams and goals
I envy those who knows where to go
What to do
Who to be
I watch my friends
As they follow their dreams
Some vast and brave
Others a simple goal in life
I watch them with such envy
As they grow and grows ever closer
To reach they destinations
To make their future present
I envy you so much
And yet
I will never wish your fall
I will only wish you success
You might not realize how fortune you are
To have somewhere to go
To have a dream to fulfill
To really fight for something
I dream of being an Astronaut
I dream of being a Pilot
A vet
A teacher
I dream of being great and inspirational
Of giving hope to those who are lost
Of being remembered throughout time and beyond
Of just being someone
But I would settle for the littlest things
Like being a true friend
A hard worker
A daughter to be proud of
I would give anything
To know what I can do
To be my best
To have a dream
I would give anything
to just

Ehem, yeah. Anyway, just something I needed to spill. Read it, love it, hate it or just forget it.
But with this, I just wanna say, that those of you who knows what you wanna do, who you wanna be and follow your dreams, I envy you. In a good way. And I truly wish you the best of luck on your journey.
For those who are just as clueless as I am, or simply just don't dare to fight for your dream, you are not alone. And it can be hard sometimes not knowing where to aim. But try not to get lost on your way. Don't get stuck. Realizing if you are though, can be hard. Doing something about it, even harder. I wish you all a good time on your journey that is life.

It was very well written and it was spoken truly from heart, I could tell.
Well, as for me, I also don't have a straight dream, and if I do, they tend to change from time to time. But, you know, maybe it ain't that important? Racing towards a goal in life? And what if you've reached it? Then what?
Sometimes I feel down when I ponder what to do and... I just don't know. I think I'm an explorer, I think I wanna see as much of the world as I can before I die. I have already started - I've been in SouthAfrica, Croatia, in many places in Germany... and I find new things every day - small things. Maybe I'm already living my dream? Maybe it's not so important to have one. Just enjoy life, I know it sounds so cheesy, but hey, ain't it true?
And plus, it has been proven to me, that time changes everything. You can plan ahead to a certain degree, but you never know what comes along. I don't wanna tell you in any way what to do, and believe me, I understand very well what you say in this poem. It hit me at some parts because I could identify with it so well. But...well here's I do: Take it as it comes, something always comes. You just have to decide if you take it or leave it.
